“Reiwa”: A new era begins for the same old morally bankrupt nation.
Arguably, Early Modern Japan has a tumultuous “ancient” history going back about 400 years. How the new guy becomes the country’s “126th emperor” is baffling.
Empires and emperors belong to medieval times [when Japan had a “tent government”,] and are wholly inconsistent with human evolution.
